The Alamos History Association Research Library has more than 300 books, plus magazine and newspaper articles about Álamos, Sonora, and Mexico.  The materials cover the history, society, art, people and many other aspects of Mexico.  These materials can be reviewed in the Library.

 

The books are shelved according to broad subject areas in the Library.  The catalog lists linked below are also in broad subject categories.  As a book may cover more than one subject, the catalog list give the section where the book is shelved.  The books are shelved in alphabetical order by the author’s surname.

The newspaper articles that mention Alamos date from the late 1800s to more current times.  They are shelved in 3-ring binders, in chronological order.  They are in process of being indexed and cataloged.  The magazine articles featuring Alamos are shelved in boxes, and are also in process of being indexed.
